Everyone should be able to participate in the cultural life of the community. Throughout Australia, more organisations are focused on increasing the level of accessibility to events, venues and workplaces for those who experience a disability. 

We’ve worked with some of the country’s leading arts and cultural centres to help ensure everyone can enjoy the arts, and pursue creative and cultural practice and employment with equality of access.

Sydney Opera House

MGAC worked with Scott Carver Architects to establish Benchmark accessibility provision as part of the Opera House masterplanning.

Museum of Contemporary Art

MGAC worked with Sam Marshall Architects to provide accessibility advice during DA stage, design development and construction sign off.

National Portrait Gallery Canberra

MGAC worked with JPW Architects during DA Stage, design development and construction stages for accessibility sign off.

Completed: 2008

Melbourne Recital Centre

MGAC worked with ARM to provide accessibility consulting services during design development stage.

Completed: 2005

Arts Centre Melbourne

MGAC is working with Development Victoria to deliver Australia’s largest infrastructure project. The team is working with NH Architecture on building redevelopment and Hassell on landscape and urban design components.
