Welcome to our quarterly Newsletter,
Addressing unprecedented change
2020 has tested us in a myriad of ways. Like many stay-at-home professionals, I quickly picked up a new job: support teacher to my kids. While I thought I’d be proficient with Grade 4 and Year 7 subjects, I realised I am not. Luckily, I’m good at accessibility and universal design!
For MGAC, it’s mostly business as usual. We go into the office when we need to, but otherwise, we’re working from home. The surprise is that we can be just as productive and service clients to the same high standard that we normally hold ourselves accountable to. In some ways, efficiency is also improved, as I’m less on the road between meetings.
David and I would like to express our gratitude to those working on the frontline – particularly supermarkets, fresh food producers, butchers, hardware, construction, transport, and health sectors. You keep us all going and ensure we can continue to do so remotely. For those working in retail, hospitality, events, marketing, education, and training, we acknowledge how difficult things are right now and feel for the immeasurable challenge being faced. We encourage everyone to support each other and will do what we can to help, where we can.
Stay safe, Nick Morris, Director
